Geocache Description:

This is the seventh in a series of hides along the Contra Costa Canal Trail.

My son and I decided that this section of the Contra Costa Canal Trail needed a little more caching attention. This is a multi-use trail administered by the East Bay Regional Parks District. The canal supplies domestic water to Martinez and to landowners along the canal.

Note: On 11/22/08, I replaced the container and log. The new container is in the same spot, but it is quite a bit smaller.
