Now, for a new USS installment... Just a big 'old Ammo Box, chocked full of goodies. One catch, you're gonna have to work a little for this one. This cache lies on the same ridge as Logan's Summit, the Stone Cuts, and the Super Cuts, so expect some elevation changes along a well traveled path.
Note: Marking on container was for a cache that was to be placed in another state. Please disregard.
This is one of a few caches in my Urban Summit Series. (Thus the acronym USS!) This is the first of those involving a signifigant hike. You might want to take the Sinks Trail to the Cuts Trail. Once the Cuts trail reaches the ridge, you will want to take the unmarked trail in the other direction from the Cuts. Trail maps are available at Briartech.com.
Why this cache? First, I have wondered why there is not a cache over here, so I placed one. Second, I love to hike about this park. Third, I felt the need to start working on my Urban Summit Series. While the cache is not located at the summit, it is nearby at the waypoint in this listing. If you make it to the cache you ought to go ahead and make to the summit so you can claim that accomplishment also.
