Geocache Description:

Starting at USGS Benchmark #K251 we are told gravity checks are made. Use the gps to locate N38 degrees, 39.196' W078 degrees 14.898' and then bounce over the Thornton to get to N38 degrees, W078 degrees 14.892' to arrive at the front door. Our cache is N38 degrees 39.173' W078 degrees 14.938' elevation about 788'

A standard ammo can has a blue panther paw on its side. the contents of our very first cache includes a composition book we would love to have you sign in your finding. Then use the camera to take your group photo. Leave this and I'll develop the film to share with my class. Items to take includes: 2006 Prom Glass, 3 different Rappahannock Panthers key chain, magnetic photo frame, wooden coin good for a free ice cream at Tastee Freeze, wooden coin good for a $1.00 off for coffee, and a paper map made by students of the county park. If you leave us something we will be delighted. The first challenge is to the gis students to find the cache and I will do my best to replinish / maintain the cache on a regular basis.
