Buddy! Ya Got A Light? Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Skookum Bear: Cache Owner,

As you have not indicated that you have visited your cache location to replace it if it was missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within a reasonable amount of time, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities.

Please do not respond to this note by sending an email reply - your response will go to an unmonitored location and disappear into the ether instead of being sent to me. If you need to contact me regarding this cache, please do so using the link on my Profile Page

Thank you for your contribution to geocaching.

Geocache Description:

Not your typical cache........Enjoy!

The listed cords are for parking.

This is a night only cache.

To locate the cache, go to the trailhead cords. From there, you will use a flashlight to look for small trail reflectors called “Fire Tacks”. There are tacks placed along the trail to guide you on your journey. When you reach an intersection, a nearby tack will show you the way. When it’s time to leave the trail, you will see a pair of tacks. From there, connect the dots until you see a trio of tacks marking the final location. The cache is an easy find once there.

There is a “First to Find” prize in this cache. It’s an unregistered Groundspeak January Signal geocoin. Good Luck and Cache On!

Note: FireTacks are tiny reflectors that are about 10 times brighter than any other type of trail marker. They reflect directly back at the light source. Therefore, they are best illuminated by a light source held as close to eye level as possible. Find more information here.
