The parking area is full of pot holes so take it easy. You can drive within 20 feet of the cache.
The cache is in part of Edgewater Park but you don't want to go to the main park on the south side of Division St. Instead you need to take a right hand turn as soon as you pass over the bridge from downtown Mount Vernon. The area is a great place to run your dogs or enjoy the sand on a hot summers day. The fishing can be good as well during the salmon and steelhead runs. Please put the cache back as close to the same place as possible as I would like to keep it out of muggles hands. Bring your pencil!
