Travel Bug Memorial Haul. Traditional Cache
hurryhome: Given the number of fail to finds and the number of times I have had to replace the cache I have decided to archive this cache.
I may set one in a safer location, still within the park, at a later date.

A quick and easy cache set within Coventry's Memorial park.
I have wonderful childhood memories of this public park. I would come here to fly my kite, ride my bike, visit the aviary (now gone), play around the trees surrounding the pond near to the cache's location and even watch the miniature steam trains, now relocated to Ryton Pools countryside park on the outskirts of Coventry. There was even a disused air raid shelter which provided hours of harmless fun. Now gone, and no doubt it would pose a health and safety risk.
I have thought long and hard about this cache. My original intention was for it to used as a virtual memorial for those Travel Bugs that have gone missing on their missions. I am more than happy for travel bug owners to 'place' their lost TBs to this cache. However if you do in order to prevent confusion for visiting cachers could you make it clear that it is a virtual posting and not a physical posting. One such TB is Cooper's Chopper which was stolen in 2006.
As this is a 35mm film cannister it is unsuited to all but the smallest of TBs. There is a log sheet, please provide your own writing implement!
