This cache has been archived for some time, but I am now re-opening it since the logging in the area has been completed. You will see that this is not a new cache as the log book has been signed when the cache was originally opened.
Cache can be reached by only two ways that I know. You can drive/or walk onto the steep logging two track which runs off Chamberlain Rd, however I strongly recommend four wheel drive if you use your vehicle. Once at the top you can park in the open meadow, and then it's on foot from there down the logging road. There are several washouts along the logging road leading from the meadow so driving from that point is not recommended.
You can also walk in from the Lake Michigan shoreline, however you will have to climb the very high bluff which I also do not recommend.
The view is spectacular near the cache location so take time to enjoy. Cache is a green ammo can. Good Luck!!
