Geocache Description:

This is an easy and quick one for travelers in the Ritzville area.

Mankind has always needed to wake up in the morning to get to work. Early man did not have mechanical devices, but a great feathered beast roamed the country side and used it's destinctive sound at the first sight of sunlight. This beast alerted man to arise from their slumber and become productive.

Near a local favorite sandwich, pizza and knick-knack shop in Ritzville pays tribute to this great feathered beast.

The cache is not on or under the beast but is very near. If your lucky the beast maybe the special of the day. No need to move, lift or prune anything. The owner of the business has given permission for us to use this area.
