Rollup, rollup on Saturday 6th May 2006 for a great day of
Geocaching, chat, drink/food plus the opportunity to be one of the
first to get your hands on the new Yorkshire Geocoin which will be
available exclusively at the event.
We have 250 in nickel and 250 in gold available (see photos). They
are individually numbered and track-able on Geocaching.com and
available on a first come first served basis on the day before
going on general release. So if you want a low or unique number, be
there or weep. Location is at the Reindeer Inn in Overton West
Yorkshire -10 mins from M1 J39. The pub has good beer, good food,
nice views, and is kiddie friendly, however dogs are not allowed
inside. We have the conservatory at the back booked between 12:00
and 15:00 where there is plenty of space and weather permitting
access to the beer garden where doggies can join us. On the day
there will be several new caches in the area with some Yorkshire
Geocoins as an FTF prizes. The organisers will however be working
hard to make sure that no one team or person can get more than one!
Perhaps a quiz or similar will be organised to facilitate this… who
knows? Game plan … meet in the Pub car park at 10:00am where
instructions will be issued for some of the new caches, lunch back
at the pub about 12:30 and Geocoin purchases, then on to more
caching and those FTF Yorkshire Geocoins Let me know in your logs
how many Yorkshire Geocoins you would like and if you want to pre
book your lunch. I will attach a menu shortly.
