Geocache Description:


This is an easy multi with two waypoints that will take you to a really cool little spot in Chino Hills along Woodview Drive. Both waypoints are within walking distance of each other and you will see some very interesting animals along the way. Inside the logbook cover you will find the coordinates to find the other cache. Your final destination is All Gods Creatures, a family owned mini-zoo.

Both caches are hanging in a tree. They are not meant to be hard to find, this cache is just to get you out to this neat location. The Farm owners Lori and her daughter Crystal are often there and have given permission for the cache, even though it is literally outside the farm, in a drive-up spot where people often stop to see the animals. They also operate a Mobile Zoo, so if some of the animals on the list are not there, they are probably out visiting kids at a school or event. If you want to feed the animals, please bring something healthy such as a bag of carrots. You can get inexpensive bags of livestock quality carrots at Vons and probably other grocery stores here in Chino Hills.

You will see the following animals:
  • Miniature babydoll sheep (Looks like a teddy bear)
  • Miniature (pygmy) goats
  • Nigerian Goats (a mini breed)
  • Barbados sheep (Rare breed of hair sheep)
  • Angora goats (Loyal's hair is used to produce "Mohair")
  • Alpacas (smaller than Llamas and much softer)
  • Llamas (Was a commercial packer in Yosemete so can carry 75 Lbs)
  • Miniature horses (much too small to ride)
  • Miniature mules (trick animal for shows only)
  • Miniature donkeys (and you thought Shrek was cute)
  • Ponies (Trusty is gentle and sure-footed)
  • Rabbits (several unusual breeds, angora, rex, dwarf)
  • Guinea Pigs
  • Potbelly pigs (Flower and Roses do tricks!)
  • Chickens (Unusual breeds: silkies, polish, frizzles)
As an added bonus, there is a Navicache about 50' from Waypoint 2. It's called All Gods Creatures and can be found on navicache.com.
