The hike to this cache follows a scenic path along the Montreal River starting at the Air Ronge campground.
Follow the hiking path beginning at the Air Ronge campground for approximately 2 kilometers. When you reach the rapids area you are getting close. Watch for a tall large split tree trunk on your left. This is where you will leave the main trail.
Watch for muskrat and beaver signs along the way.
There is an osprey nest about halfway.
Look for deer tracks.
Waterfowl in this area include pelicans, ducks, geese, comorants and herons.
The cache is about 30 meters south west off the main trail, at the "v" base of a two birch trees.
The cache is a green ammo box.
The cache is partially covered with branches.
Cache contents: flashlight, squeaking elephant bicycle horn, red scented candle, roll electrical tape, practice golf ball, magnetic cabbage patch doll, nail clippers, 2 emery boards, small ruler, pencils and log book.
