This cache is part of a series based on the idea of Portkeys from the Harry Potter Books.
Portkeys are enchanted objects, often a piece of supposedly worthless junk, which when touched transports a person to a preprogrammed location. (Thanks to Harry Potter Lexicon for definition)
Park at youth fishing area in Fox Run Conservation area near Muddy Pond. For directions see GCGW8F near by cache.
This Portkey, when touched will bring you North to Canada. It is filled with items related to Canada. Original contents:fish gift bag, deer key ring, bear patch, flies for flyfishing, duck call, bobble-head moose, pine tree air freshener, green sig stone. Please trade accordingly.

Hiding this one, I wanted the cacher to feel like they were hiking around in Canada's vast wilderness. I didn't expect to find (on my way back) some bones- see pictures. Came back with local PD who found remnants of at least 2 animals (pretty good sized), and deemed all to be animal bones. I seem to keep coming across things like this- also snakes. I don't know if there's any connection to HP?!
The trail comes and goes- may get better with more foot traffic. some bushwacking necessary especially if you lose the trail:) . If you like to bring children, school age would be best because of terrain. The trail starts around the right side of the pond (pond in front of you/road behind you).
