A pleasant hike along the flood plain of the Sheep River. Observe the amazing power of the river after the floods of 2005.
Welcome to the Linkster’s first cache! This is a nice little hike to break up your drive south of Calgary. A leisurely hike along the flood plain of the Sheep River you will witness the carnage caused by the floods of 2005. Bring along a fishing rod – in season – and enjoy angling for trout and white fish. Cache is a ammo box containing some very nice trade items, like a sleeve of golf balls, a creature from the past, and a brand new Harley Davidson!
