This is a fairly straight forward cache on the north side of the
River Blyth in Stannington Vale between the A1 and Plessey Woods.
The cache is within 4 feet of the public footpath.
Two suggested parking places have been provided; although the
Plessey Woods parking is certainly quieter. There are a couple of
caches in the nearby area including ‘A Plessant Walk’ (
GCGJGX).
The GPS coverage is not fantastic even without many leaves on
the nearby trees because of the steep sides of the vale; so you may
need the spoiler photo and/or clue.
