Oh sure, the walk starts off nice and sandy but don't worry, depending on the choices you make on your expedition, you may find rubber boots extremely handy!
This section of York Regional Forest should not be missed. Absolutely teeming with interesting flora and fauna, it is a fabulous area to explore but I suggest you keep dogs leashed as we regularly see porcupines out here. Take your time to explore some of the amazing old white pines, rejuvenated tamaracks and reproductive swampland. Keep your eyes open for evidence of turtle nests and other traces of wildlife or indeed the creatures themselves.
On that note, please tread gently around the cache.
