Another darn near drive by, on the Res. The only muggles are 100' away going 60mph.
Marble Bluff fishway is a federal fishery mitigation project. In reparation for the Derby dam fiasco long ago! They monitor the lakes Cui-ui population, and this time of year, spawn them for rearing in the "Dave Koch" hatchery cache, "just down the road a piece". This one's a freebie, and a neat place to visit from Feb. thru May when the big ole pelicans feed there(over 100 there today!), and bring food to their chicks on Anahoe Island. The rest of the year, it's just another notch on the GPS! HAVE FUN!
