Geocache Description:

Relatively easy walk, parking allowed on road. Easy and quick walk (maybe 1/4 mile total), trail cache is located about 20 feet off of trail.

This is our first cache placed. This is an old park that is being restored. It is being used as a passive park (as opposed to playgrounds, etc.) There is a gazebo area to sit and have a lunch/snack. Over the parks history it has had natural springs, baseball fields and been overgrown. If you are in the area, spend some extra time and go see Higgins Armory (visit link) it's only a couple hundred yards away. The cache has a popcorn container, silly putty, bubble necklace, 2 pedometers, Red Sox bumper sticker, flashlight, deck of Sponge Bob cards, Red Sox key chain, eraser, UMASS hospital key chain and the Eifel Tower (no really it's in there). Area may become overgrown in the summer.
