East Village Park (Shelton, CT) is on East Village Rd. roughly .7 miles north of Rte 110 (turn by White Hills shopping center). This multicache will give you a nice tour of the park. While you're here, don't miss the other cache, "The Best Seat in the Park"
East Village Park has a running track, soccer field, two regulation lighted softball fields, tennis courts, walking paths, basketball court & toddler playground. Very kid-friendly. Good place to fly a kite if the breeze is up.
Alcohol is not permitted. Our doggie friends must wear a leash and bring a scooper. The park is closed from dusk to dawn.

A short walk to the upper field will bring you to Stage 1, a 3" micro. (Stay OUTSIDE the fence!). Some stealth required here, especially if a game is underway.
Don't bushwack! FIND THE TRAILHEAD NEXT (coords below), and follow the trail to the final 2 qt. container. Caution is required, as the cache is close to the trail. Take the cache further on over to the stream to examine it and sign the log.
[Admission of guilt...] Ten days ago I took a real nasty 6-foot fall and landed on my back on a rock. Luckily nothing was broken. I am recovering: I have monster bruises, and it hurts to walk. So I walked REAL slow... and CAREFUL... and NOT VERY FAR... When I went in, I had a cache in my hand. When I came out, I didn't.
