Geocache Description:

A short stroll in Simcoe County Forest's Cookstown Tract

This cache was placed as part of the 2nd Series of caches by the Central Ontario Geocachers. COG members are fortunate to live in a beautiful and varied part of the province. These caches are our way of sharing the places in which we live with everybody. If you don’t live in Central Ontario we hope you’ll visit and enjoy Central Ontario and if you live in the area, we hope this shows you something new of our beautiful region. If you had a chance to attend the second annual COG Spring Fling we bet you had a great time and thanks for joining us. If you didn’t have the chance to attend, see you next year!

This placement for the series highlights the "Cookstown" tract of the Simcoe County Forest. I have only recently ventured into this tract, and while it is not big, it is a great visit and highlights yet another area that is unique in its location and charm.

The cache is located not very far from the main trail. It is a 3 or 4 litre "Whey Protein" container and shouldn't be difficult to locate once in the area.
