So, another long winter of park-&-grab micros, pub crawls,
and chat rooms left ya a little paunchy in the middle ? Need some
toning for those long, food-less, forced marches with T-Prints
?
Here's a chance to hike some !
Park at the foot of the hill, follow the tire tracks up the
first bank, then find the hidden trail to your left along the
ravine. Take a brisk walk to the top, and enjoy the invigorating
pounding of your heart, the cleansing feeling of sweat issuing from
your pores, the burning of O2 starved lungs, and the nice view of
town.
Some info on the locale - The bottom left section of land
bordering the road used to Be the site of "Green & Baker Ice
house". They made big sheets of ice, then cut it in blocks to sell
- any size that you needed. They then put it in rooms that look like
a dungeons. Then in later years it was a butcher shop. You could
have your meat cut up or buy meat. Thanks to cacher TID, who used
to live up the hill, for the info.
