A nice hike along a lake shaped like Illinois. You are looking for
a sandwich size lock and lock container.
Parking is at N39* 46.497 W089* 36.286. Follow the trail until you
are about ten feet from the cache. Please rehide the cache well as
this is a high muggle area. Some poison ivy may be present.
For over one hundred years the main means of communication was by
telegraph. There is still remains of the wires, insulators, and
poles along these old railways. You will see several of these poles
and maybee a few of the insulators. Most have been taken along with
the wire to sell for scrap. When you look at the remains imagine
all the messages sent across these poles over the years.
