Geocache Description:

This is/should be an easy cache placed near one of the many places I visit while at work. Some people may disagree with how easy it is. This cache was not ment to be more than a cache & dash.

No this is not a Porta John. The near by Porta John looking building is a river gage. This is where the Susquehanna River level is measured in Vestal, NY. The gage is used by the National Weather Service for flood forecasting.

Follow this link to take a peek at the information available from this gage.

Follow this link to look at the hydro information available from NWS Binghamton, NY Forcast Office.

The log has the name that I was going to use for this cache. The original name was going to be a spin on a series of cache done by a local cacher due to it's proximity to water.

Don't make this harder than it needs to be. No need to stick your hand into someplace you can not see. I don't like doing it, so I wouldn't make you. The cache is small so there is no pen. Please bring your own to sign the log. As always, please hide the cache as found or better.
