Located along an old lane. Could be easy or difficult depending on the route you pick.
The name of this cache is shared with the tune that is the punch line to a "groaner". You know a joke that makes you groan when you hear the punch line. Maybe you have heard this one: where does the Lone Ranger take his garbage? This dump looks typical of a lot of farm sites, but I have seen items traceable to the Forest Preserve District. THIS IS A SOMEWHAT HAZARDOUS AREA, REMEMBER IT WAS A GARBAGE DUMP METAL OBJECTS AND TRIPPING HAZARDS SCATTERED ABOUT HIDDEN BY WEEDS. LOG IS INSIDE A 1/2-INCH DIAMETER CONTAINER GLUED TO THE LID OF a larger container that looks like it belongs in the dump.
Room for small"junk". TAKE CARE REMOVING AND REPLACING THE LIDS. Remove outside lid, flip open in side lid to find the log. Please replace as you found it. BYOP (Bring your favorite marking stick)
Please don't get carried away with CITO and cart off this cache (even though it wouldn't hurt me to see this dump hauled off). All materials except glue and paint are recycled.
