Geocache Description:

You are invited to find the second Mashpee Riverview Cache, yet again found in the 390 acre Mashpee River Woodlands. Well defined trails, kid friendly, a small cache with log book and a few small trade items. Birders bring your binoculars...

This cache is placed with permission from the Mashpee Conservation Commission.

The cache is a small tupperware container, bordering on micro size. It is about 3" tall about 2" in diameter. It has room for coins and very small items only. As the first container was muggled, please rehide carefully. Thanks!

There are three parking lots for the Woodlands. The closest to this cache is on River Road (park on the side of the street opposite the houses). From here it is about 0.3 miles to the cache. You can also park at the North Lot off of Quinnaquissett Ave. This will take you to the original Mashpee Riverview Cache and on to Part II. However, please be aware that you are now embarking on a 1.2 mile trip each way. For the truly ambitious, park at the Main Lot off of Mashpee Neck Road. You can now find all four caches in the Woodlands while enjoying both banks of the river, all in a 5.6 mile round trip hike.
