Nazgul: Reported as likely missing after a few DNFs and I don't think I'll have the time to get out there to check on it anytime soon. Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

Trail sign

This cache is a two-inch diameter metal tin, marking a secret trailhead into Coyote Lake - Harvey Bear Ranch very near the southern tip of the lake.

Please note that the park is subject to closure during the rainy season(!) and that bikes and horses are not allowed in from this trailhead. Dogs are allowed on-leash. However, you don't need to actually leave the small dirt pullout here and enter the park so the cache should be available at all times.

There is a witness post and benchmark here as well, but they're not in the geocaching.com database. When I used my foot to sweep aside the leaves over the access cover I unleashed a vast swarm of ants, yuck! But not to worry, the cache isn't at ground level anyway.
