Gravel/dirt road.
An easy walk up a wash.
Please replace cache EXACTLY as you found it.
You can approach this cache from two directions. Trout Canyon Rd. is an easier approach. Lovell Canyon Rd. approach will require a high clearance vehicle. as you will have to go over Lovell Pass El. approx. 6600' which is a little more difficult but much more beautiful.
There are many more caches in the area from either direction.
There is a place to park your vehicle. Bring plenty of water and a lunch or a snack. Plan a picnic because you will want to stay in the area for a while, especially on the Lovell Canyon Rd. route. Bring a jacket or sweater on cooler days as elevation is a factor.
This is the desert and yes, there are snakes. We saw a 3 foot grass snake on the road by the cache.
Hope you enjoy the area and the cache.
