cannondahler: Just saw a log that reported cache had been muggled and scattered. Sounds like kids, and I'm guessing that if they are local, they probably consider the park their "turf" and will continue to mess with the cache. Will consider a re-hide at the same park if I can spot a better location.

Short walk, gentle terrain.
When we saw this tiny gem of a new park, we knew it was perfect for us to place our first cache. We encountered two deer on our first visit, not more than a hundred feet from the parking lot! Please use parking coordinates- N40 53.417 W081 24.884, off Applegrove, as a few cachers have approached the cache across private property, and I don't want cache placement permission compromised! Little more than a short loop trail and a couple of picnic tables, the park still attracts a fair amount of muggle traffic, maybe because it's still new and people are curious. Use caution, and leave cache well-hidden. The location is fairly typical for a cache of this type, so even well-concealed it shouldn't be hard for seasoned cachers, and the hint should be very helpful for anyone new, or anyone who has trouble due to GPS reception problems. Noted a little poison ivy on the approach, though none at the actual cache site. That may change as the season progresses, keep a sharp eye if you're susceptible!I've upgraded the overall difficulty to a 2, based on variable GPS readings owing to heavier tree cover. I visited the cache location three times and took readings using two different GPS units each time before I listed. I'm confident of the listed coordinates, but the trees are more fully in leaf now, and we've had a run of cloudy weather, too, so poor reception may be to blame for so many people struggling with this one. Everybody seems to be managing, so I guess it's not too hard. Cache is a standard ammo can, stocked with typical trinkets, and something special for the First Finder. We'll try to service the cache on a weekly basis, but please report cache condition when you log your find.
