Geocache Description:

This is a regular-sized cache container large enough for small travel bugs and trading items. Please note updated coordinates (January 2022). Please use the designated parking coordinates. It is only a short walk (and bushwhack in warmer months) from the walking trail. Watch for rusty nails and thorns. Please observe the park warning signs and stay off the steep slope areas. Please be discreet and place the cache container back as you found it so the next cacher will enjoy the same challenge.

Come discover Lake Springdale! My family and I first encountered this little lake early in the Fall of 2005 while exploring Spring creek near our home. We were excited to learn of the city’s plans to develop the nice walking trail and park that is now here. This was the first phase in a planned series of Springdale trails and trail loops that, eventually, connected Lake Springdale, JB Hunt Park, the Brush Creek area, as well as the Razorback Greenway.

Since this trail opened in April, 2006, this little lake has become quite popular with local fishermen and folks just wanting to get out and go for a peaceful walk. So, please be discreet and beware of muggles when searching for the cache.

Please note new coordinates (January 2022). The cache is now located a fair distance from the walking trail and may require some bushwhacking in the warmer months. Please stay off of the steep rocky slopes and use the designated parking area at N 36° 12.863 W 94° 09.644. The trail is open from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM. I placed a pencil in the container but those tend to disappear so it's best to always bring your own writing instrument to sign the log. Enjoy!

Initial contents of the original ammo box cache: Hot Wheels cars, fishing supplies, laser pointer, metal slinky, can cozie, two stress balls, mouse pad, deck of playing cards, dice, keychain, log book, pencil, pen, and the Olive H2 Hummer SUV TB.

*** Congratulations to "Fearless four" for the FTF! ***
