Sharon’s Surprise
Sharon was a vivacious woman. She was a caring mother, lover of Jake, her dog, who went everywhere with her, an attentive friend, volunteer, softball player, and poker master. Three years ago Sharon was diagnosed with brain cancer. In the remission phase we were filled with hope. Then the cancer came back. The last 6 months we celebrated Sharon’s life by having poker party sleepovers at the cabin and reminiscing about the old softball days. In those days she would run… hit homeruns… pull out double plays… laugh and drink all night. She was a champion.
The picture on the front of the log book is one of the last celebrations we were to share with Sharon. She wanted to see everyone and share pictures, oh and play Texas Hold’Em! We love and miss you Sharon.
We decided to place this cache as we sat in hospice with Sharon. We wanted to do something for her. Since “Big TT” and I cache we thought we would place a cache close to one of her favorite camping areas. She used to go to Denny Creek when the boys were young.
Note: NOT in a cave, your GPS will get you there.
