Cache was placed while on a 9 mile loop hike with Boy Scout
Troop 604. They had to where weighted packs since this was a
conditioning hike for a backpacking trip. Since I was only along
for the fun... I loaded up CPL Kiwi with a couple of caches to hide
along the way.
At this point of the trail, you must make a choice...continue up
the trail through Lost Camp and Big Ben, or take the low road and
follow the trail back to the lower trailhead along the beautiful
creek. This cache is placed so you can take a moment to contemplate
the long climb onward an upward, or the easy stroll back to the
car.
The cache is stocked with many items, all in camoflage colors...
a camo hackie sack, a camo wallet, a few army men, and a SGT
Stitches Geocoin for the FTF.
The cache is not too far off the main trail and in an obvious
location. Please hide well from curious eyes.
GPS reception is spotty, so I rated the difficulty as a 1.5...
if you happen to have GPSr that works well under the trees, this
one should be no problem!
