The C-Four Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Hilts: Since December 16th has long passed and I have heard no word from the cache owner regarding the email I sent and the note that I posted about obtaining a permit for this cache I am archiving this listing as requested by the HCPR Department.

I am sure that new caches will be placed in these areas in the near future and I would ask that the existing cache containers be removed when new caches are placed, even if it’s a little out of your way to do so. We need to keep the parks free of “geo-trash” so that they will continue to allow us to use their parks for our hobby/obsession.

Thanks,
Reviewer Hilts

Geocache Description:

The C-Four (Cool Creek Camo Cache) In Cool Creek Park in Hamilton County. It's a beautiful little park with plenty of trails and woods, and great places to hide geocaches. Quite a few are hidden around the park. Terrain varies from level and paved to some quite hilly, rugged areas.

About the Cache: Close to paved parking, but in an area of the park without a trail. You will have to walk through some undergrowth. The cache is a tupperware type container covered in camo tape. The container is supposedly waterproof, and everything inside is protected by ziplock bags (the log is in a ziplock within a ziplock), so it should be a fairly safe cache for surviving the weather. There's plenty of room inside for more trinkets, travel bugs, etc. The cache is covered with sticks, twigs, logs, leaves, etc... be sure to hide it as well as you found it!

This is our first cache, and we've only been geocaching a few weeks. But we've already fallen in love with it. My wife and I wanted to get a cache started because of a travel bug I'm releasing into the wild. It's a memorial called Fast Freddie for my dad who passed away in April, and I wanted it to start out in my cache. If you see him, help him on his way!

Happy Hunting!
