A beautiful view of Yarmouth harbour
This small cache is located in Overton by a monument erected to commemorate the first Yarmouth County Ship launching in 1764. .. and also to the memory of "they that go down to the sea in ships". En route to the Yarmouth Lighthouse, this boasts of easy parking and a few benches on which to relax and breathe in the salt air. With close ties to both Gloucester and Nova Scotia fishermen, we couldn't resist bringing you here. This is an easy location, with a little twist to the hide. You can view Bunker's Island and the Town of Yarmouth, perhaps catch a glimpse of boats in the harbour. Please use caution when finding and logging in and please keep small things for trade items. Original contents were log book, pens, stickers, trading pins, photos, and a FTF certificate.
