Geocache Description:

Near a footpath which offers alternative views of Bradgate Park

The cache is located just off a footpath linking Cropston with Bradgate Park (Note the Cropston end is a bridleway). The path gives alternative views of the park and Cropston Reservoir. The footpath can be accessed from the village of Cropston or from any of the Bradgate Park car parks should you want a longer walk. The closest is Newtown Linford then Cropston car park and finally the Old John car park. The footpath leads to a quieter area of the park where even at weekends you may see large numbers of deer. A few Muggles use the path for jogging or dog walking so some stealth may be required. Please note the way you remove the cache and replace the camouflage.

I have noticed a few people cache using public transport in the area. Cropston is on bus route 123 from Leicester (note sadly no service on a Sunday).

The car parks close at dusk but access to the footpaths is 24x7.
