This cache is a camo taped matchstick container. A great one for the kids. Please leave the container exactly where you find it.
The cache has been named for Melvil Dewey, an American librarian, who lived from 1861 - 1931. He is noted for beginning the decimal library-classification system, The Dewey Decimal System. He also founded the American Library Association and the Library Journal in 1876.

The cache has been moved to the Hal Gray park, per the library mgmt's request. Hal Gray is a long time resident of the Rensselaer area. He used to be a teacher and loves parks. The gazebo is a wonderful place to sit in the nice weather and have lunch.
When you are finished searching, check out the library next door. As Lady Bird Johnson said, "Perhaps no place in any community is so totally democratic as the town library. The only entrance requirement is interest." They have amazing things to see and do, check it out. Good luck searching!!!
