How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

this cache was taken, unwittingly by a teen, who attempted to take it on his plane back to Chicago. It was confiscated and subsequently detonated by the FBI--honest, true story. This is right off of the Colorado Trail. It is not the type of container you would normally expect to find.

This cache is a take only cache. There is no room to leave anything behind. There is a jar inside that has "gold nuggets." Please help yourself to one nugget, or one nugget per child. Be sure to close the lid on the cache snuggly, but not too tight, as it may be hard to open for the next finder. Please place the cache back in the exact same spot and place the lid that opens on top. There are two lids, yet only one will open, when replacing the cache, please make sure the lid that opens is on top and then place it back in it's resting place. This geocache is located on a State Wildlife Area or CPW-leased State Trust Land. A valid hunting or fishing license is required to access and recreate on this property. All other rules and regulations by Colorado Parks & Wildlife apply. Learn more at https://cpw.state.co.us/.
