Geocache Description:

This cache is in honor of the 44th Tactical Fighter Squadron at Kadena AFB, Okinawa, Japan.

I flew with the 44th TFS from November 1972 to May 1974 in the F-4C Phantom II. This cache contains a partial squadron of toy jet fighters that are willing to deploy anywhere and fly and fight. The cache is in a green plastic coffee can. You can park within a quarter mile of the cache. I recommend four wheel drive due to the loose gravel on the road to the cache.
