Geocache Description:

This is one in a series of caches that follow the path of a fictitious geocacher who has gone missing.

One of the other theories proposed by investigators who were working on the Missing Cacher case thought he was partaking in some illegal hunting. The area does have a lot of deer, some of which are thought to be of the human-devouring variety. Perhaps the missing cacher carried a weapon simply for protection from the dangerous critters that inhabit these woods. Personally speaking, I have on numerous occasions escaped barely with my life from those dangerous critters such as the always hideous Denebian Slime Devil. Tellarites, Andorians, Klingon Targs and the occasional Regalian Blood Worm have been known to frequent the area. If only I had fellow geocacher “he’sdeadjim” and his trusty Type II phaser to keep me safe. Don’t forget the tribbles! OMG the tribbles!!!! The amount of food in this area could really cause the tribbles to multiply! After all, look at what happened to the tribbles on space station K-7. After eating the quadro-triticale, the tribbles reproduced until there were 1,771,561 tribbles in that storage compartment on the space station! Thank goodness Dr. McCoy found out that if you stop feeding the tribbles, they’ll stop breeding.

Anyhow, the missing cacher was able to fend off all the Star Trek villains at Standing Bear Lake with his trusty rifle. The ammo can that he used to store his ammunition now carries a bunch of SWAG items and a log book.
