I needed a place to rest on the hike up the Viejas MT trail so we stopped here at one of the few flat spots and decided it was a perfect spot for a cache. As we were at the site we looked west and we could see all of Peutz Valley. How beautiful. It's slowly recovering from the fires. Houses are popping back up and some trees are recovering. Giant Tom turkeys live in the valley and thrill the residents with their antics and cries. Enjoy the views!!
Cache is a small lock-n-lock with some swag and FTF$$.
