Dead Men Tell no Tales, or TT Kayak Cache # 3. Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

KayakDuo: The time has come to archive this cache. We have had great fun with this one. But, a greater need has developed.

This spring there will be a new osprey nest on the island that is the first stage. To give the ospreys the undisturbed space they need to flourish we ask you not to visit the island. We will soon be removing the cache container & all traces of occupation.

Geocache Description:

Ahoy, ye bilge rats, Thar be treasure at Cap’n Dreads Island.

In the year of the lord 1723, I, Cap’n. Dread, sailed the caravelle “Black Death”, under the Jolly Roger, past the bar & into a river on the south coast for the purpose of caching the booty taken from the thievin’ scoundrels near the Spanish islands. If you want to find my treasure, you’ll follow my commands perfectly, you sorry shadow of a sailor that ever holystoned a quarterdeck.

First, you need to find the unnamed island with a large square hole in the center. Bluewater sailors from Port Royal, declare that this square hole is the back entrance to the Money Pit on Oak island, NS. No, I won’t say no more, or the devil take me.
See for yourself, (visit link)

On this island there is a plank inscribed with the latitude & longitude for the treasure. No, not so quick, you scurvy dog! Hoist yer sails & go to a nearby island. It is inhabited by fierce cannibals, who would as likely cut yer throat & chew on your sorry bones. If they be departed, you might complete your mission, if you hurry.
At the tree shaped like an arch, there rests the bones of my scurvy landing party who thought they would live another day. Fools! They thought a share to be theirs, Ha, Dead men tell no tales!
Nearby is the treasure. A Special “Pirate coin” awaits the FTF. No droolin’! swabbie.
You can launch your vessel at the Dartmouth boat ramp.
