coolcamaro: We have decided to archive this cache. It was last found in January 2015. This cache was originally placed by Miles Stone. We adopted it and we held it for a while. It was in a spot only reachable by a determined hike, so maintenance has been an issue.

Geocache Description:

This cache was originally placed by the cacher known as Miles Stone.

This cache offers you a nice walk along the Farmington River and wonderful views of the Tariffville Gorge. Please note the coordinates to the scenic lookout provided below. For those doing this at night, some reflective guides will assist you.

This cache can be done along with the caches of wide glide's Hatchet Hill Road to Tariffville Series.

Directions: Park just off of Route 189 on Old Hartford Avenue. Be careful crossing the street. We have also seen vehicles parked at the trailhead, on the grass.
