The cache is hidden in a relic of the old logging days in these parts. Bring trout fishing gear along and you could be in for one heck of a tasty shore lunch. Plan on taking the whole day.
This is a tough one to get to. It is surrounded by crown land. To gain access you need to talk the Goddards who run the only hunting and fishing lodge on the lake. You can find them, and parking at the following coordinates. N 46 degrees 35.604’ W 077 degrees 13.038’. They've heard of geocaching. To get to the lodge a four wheel drive might help, especially if it is a wet day. From the lodge you need a boat, bring your own or rent one there. It is about a three kilometer run down a fairly large lake. The cache exchange items are a little better than the average due to the effort required in finding it so please reciprocate in kind. The hint is very explicit as you wouldn’t want to go this far and then not spot the cache. You are looking for a peanut butter jar painted grey.
