In honor of Zuma's birthday I have place a series of caches. The series consists of 7 sets of six part mystery caches (find 6 caches to get the 7th). Each set of caches will be located in an Eau Claire county park. You should be able to complete each set in less than 2 hours. In each mystery cache there will also be a clue to locate the "Ultra Mystery Cache". There is a total of 50 caches. (We won't say how old Zuma is!)....Clue "K" for Lowes Creek West Mystery Cache.
One of 14 caches I placed in this park. All are typical caches placed in nice big ammo cans. I spent many enjoyable hours planning these cache and I hope you have as much enjoyment finding them. I actually had a deer jump up about 5 feet from me as I was on the way out to this spot.
Lowes Creek County Park is a 250 acre park located just a couple miles south of Eau Claire off S. Lowes Creek Road in the town of Washington. Lowes Creek, a trout stream which flows through the park, is spanned with a bridge giving hiking and skiing access to both sides of the creek. In addition to fishing, the park has approximately 5 miles of fitness/hiking and ski trails which are also open for mountain biking. Winter snowshoe/pet walking trails are groomed to separate these recreation uses from ski trails. A picnic shelter and pit toilets are located adjacent to the parking lot. Daily/annual vehicle entrance passes are required.
Directions
Take US HWY 93 south of Eau Claire to Golf Road, turn right, go 1.5 miles to S. Lowes Creek Road, turn left and proceed 1.5 miles to the park entrance.
