Have you ever been hiking and spied something out of place? Did you wonder, "What is that doing here?" This cache was the result of one of those moments. Watch for the unusual and the cache will be an easy find.
This cache is within 10 feet of a lightly used trail at Blandford Nature Center. If approaching from off-trail, please tread lightly and avoid damaging the understory plants. Trails are open dawn to dusk. However, the main parking lot gate is locked at 5 pm on most days. Parking along nearby streets is readily available at all times.
Blandford is free to all except during a few special events. If you have some time to spend here, hike the Wildlife Trail (just NE of parking) and see native hawks, owls, and a bobcat on display. The Visitors' Center, tucked behind the trees to the east of parking, is also fun to visit.
