This is another one of our caches along the former Milwaukee Road. This line was once part of the New Lisbon to Star Lake line. Passing through Wisconsin Rapids, Wausau, Merrill, Tomahawk, Minoaqa on it's way to Star Lake in northern Wisconsin. The line now ends in Tomahawk and is owned by the Canadian National railroad. Please enjoy the hike. Or you may ride you bike. The Cache is located on an Island that is connected to the mainland by this Hiawatha Bike trail. PLEASE REMEMBER TO USE SOME STEALTH AND REHIDE THE CACHE WELL AS THERE ARE ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO USE THIS TRAIL ALL YEAR ROUND.
