Geocache Description:

An ammo box hidden by the falls on Poison Creek just above where it empties into Lake Chelan. Boat access only!

To get to this cache, you'll first need to get to the mouth of Poison Creek on Lake Chelan. We used a kayak, but any kind of boat should work fine. If you're truly brave, you could probably swim at the right time of year, but I don't recommend it.

From there, it's about a tenth of a mile (and 200 feet of altitude) of bushwhack up to the cache. There are some animal trails and places where other people have walked, but basically it's make-your-own trail. Be sure to go on the left hand side of the creek (as viewed from the lake), because there's no way to cross the creek once you're away from the lake.

It's not that hard. SuperDudeSam did it, and he's 6. We've hiked up to the falls in previous years with smaller kids, too.
