Geocache Description:

At a bridge about 8 meters above sea level

At the bridge Gäddviksbron which was finished 1941. The first steelbuilt bridge in the northernmost part of sweden. The building of the bridge was discussed and this place was one of three posible places. The two other places was near the center of Luleå town or Avan, 15 km upstream.
The bridge has some small modifications but is mostly in it´s original form.
It´s one of 126 bridges in Sweden that shall be protected.
