Geocache Description:

Cache is near to Whitehill Stone Circle in Pitfichie Forest, about a mile from the car park. Forestry road, off-road buggies will manage no problem.

Park at the forestry car park (N 57 12.498 W 002 34.402). The car park is signposted from the main road, both for the cycle paths and the stone circle.

Grab one of the handy leaflets from the box beside the information board and head up the hill. Keep to the blue track all the way. There's only one fork - head right, again following the blue track. A couple more minutes and you'll be there. No part of the Stone Circle needs to be touched to find the cache.

Cache contains the usual selection of swaps and a small FTF bonus.

Having (hopefully!) found the cache you can head further on if you want. Pitfichie forest is surprisingly big!

Finally, the Forestry Commission asked us to mention that Pitfichie is a working forest, so please pay attention to any local signs, etc about operations.
