Geocache Description:

Welcome to my second bookcache. My last one was muggled, hopefully this one will fare better.

I only discovered this area thanks to Willbuild’s “Rocks, Rocks and More Rocks” cache, and I think the stonefields are pretty cool. In this general area there are several walking tracks, and a coastal wetlands walk that apparently goes for 7 km around to Ambury Farm Park. Watch out for bovine livestock, and cow patties in the stonefields. Oh, and rocks…watch out for those as well…

As before, this is a themed bookcache, with some room for travel bugs. The books I stash there are registered at www.bookcrossing.com, and are able to be tracked just like travel bugs. If you bring books to swap, please consider registering them first, put them in ziploc bags, and please keep it family friendly.

While I know that the general rule for GeoCaching is to leave something if you take something, in this particular instance, I would prefer that it not be crammed too full, as it is important that the books stay dry. If you are having trouble with space, feel free to take an extra book, or not leave one. I am happy to add more books later as the need arises.

I am starting this cache with five books:

Stickmen by Peter Vegas
The Surgeon of Crowthorne by Simon Winchester
Shadowland by Peter Straub
A Tale of Two Cities (abridged version) by Charles Dickens

and (for the GeoCaching grandchildren…)

Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets by Dav Pilkey

It will also start out with the Art Gecko TB.

The co-ordinates given are offset, as the satellite fix gets a little fuzzy closer in. The cache is about 11 metres south from the co-ordinates.

Oh, and if you are wondering why I call this place Froggy Bottom, come here in the springtime, and listen.

P.S. If anyone is looking for BC book labels, I have some at (visit link) PM me if you want me to send you a pdf file.

ETA: Looks like this may have been muggled. Will leave entry as is for now in case someone finds it. If not found, I will retire it.
