Geocache Description:

New location - Away from the fallen trees. The new container is a small screw top beaker so minimal space for swaps or TB.

You could collect this one on the way around the Valeways Millennium Heritage Trail or as a quick cache and dash. Park at 51°30.005'N, 3°26.302'W and walk a short distance down a country lane. The lane is narrow and has soft verges so please don't try to park any closer. Access to the cache site is via 2 stiles so not suitable for very small kids or pushchairs. Dogs are ok but need to be small enough to lift over or big enough to jump. You will have to pass through some livestock so don't forget the lead. Follow the path (Now part of the Valeways Millennium Heritage Trail) on from the cache to visit the site of an old settlement and some great views over the Vale of Glamorgan. Difficulty rating reflects amount of tree cover. Position was averaged for quite a while but is still a bit vague, only about 40 feet accuracy so some good
