Nice easy walk out to Windmill
Hill in the centre of Ballynahinch.
The windmill is visible from most parts of the town and the
Woodland Trust hope to have it fully restored to its former glory
at some point in the future.
To get to Windmill Hill, go through the town and take a left at
Lidl's. A few hundred metres on the right is Windmill Gardens where
parking is available. Head up to the back of the houses and follow
the grass path up and round to the windmill.
Views of the Mournes, Slieve Croob and the greater Ballynahinch
area are great from the top!
The cache is a regular size ammo box with a decent assortment of
goodies!
Riverside Walk is close by if you haven't already done this
cache!
